继加密货币Luna在价值近乎归零后，加密货币市场又一次引起关注，这次是币圈热门“跑鞋”项目STEPN。

5月27日，STEPN突然宣布清退大陆用户，引发项目代币GMT和GST价格跳水，一度跌幅近40%。不过，随着市场情绪有所缓和，截至记者发稿时，两个代币价格有所回升。
On 27 May, STEPN suddenly announced the withdrawal of mainland users, triggering a drop of nearly 40 per cent in the project's token GMT and GST prices. However, as market sentiment subsided, the price of the two tokens had recovered by the time journalists issued their papers.

北京时间5月27日凌晨，STEPN在其官方社交媒体上发布《关于清退中国大陆账户的公告》，称将对软件用户进行清查，若发现中国大陆地区用户，则将依据使用条款对其账户于2022年7月15日(UTC+8)24:00 停止提供GPS及IP位置服务。
In the early morning hours of 27 May Beijing time, STEPN published in its official social media a bulletin on clearing mainland China accounts, stating that users of the software would be identified and that users in mainland China would cease to provide GPS and IP location services on 15 July 2022 (UTC+8) at 24:00 in accordance with the terms of use.
STEPN在公告中表示，如果用户预期长期会在中国大陆地区的GPS或IP位置登陆及使用帐户，鼓励用户自行决策处理应用内的资产。
In its bulletin, STEPN stated that if users expected long-term landing and use of accounts in GPS or IP locations in mainland China, users were encouraged to make their own decisions on the disposal of assets in applications.
至于清退中国大陆用户的原因，STEPN在公告中解释是“为积极主动响应相关监管政策”。
As to the reasons for the withdrawal of users from mainland China, STEPN explained in its bulletin that “to respond proactively to relevant regulatory policies”.
去年9月24日，中国人民银行发布《关于进一步防范和处置虚拟货币交易炒作风险的通知》，再次重申虚拟货币相关业务活动属于非法金融活动。其中，境外虚拟货币交易所通过互联网向我国境内居民提供服务同样属于非法金融活动，对于相关境外虚拟货币交易所的境内工作人员，以及明知或应知其从事虚拟货币相关业务，仍为其提供营销宣传、支付结算、技术支持等服务的法人、非法人组织和自然人，依法追究有关责任。

Among them, the offshore virtual currency exchange provides services to residents in the country via the Internet, which are also illegal financial activities. 在此次《通知》发布后，一些加密货币交易平台接连宣布清退中国大陆地区用户。其中，币安C2C 去年12月31日24时下架CNY交易区，同时将对平台用户进行清查，若平台发现中国大陆地区用户，则其对应账户将切换至“只允许提现”模式，用户将只能进行提现、撤单、赎回、平仓操作。
After the announcement, a number of encrypted money-trading platforms announced the removal of users from mainland China. Of these, the currency C2C was set up at 2400 hours on 31 December last, while an inventory of the platform's users will be conducted. If the platform discovers users from mainland China, the corresponding accounts will be switched to the “presentation only” mode, and the users will be able to cash out, withdraw their bills, redeem themselves and level the warehouse.

In its bulletin, STEPN disclosed that it had not carried out any operations in mainland China since its creation and did not provide a downloading pipeline, “STEPN has always attached importance to compliance obligations and has always complied strictly with the relevant requirements of local regulatory bodies”.
STEPN代币暴跌 一度跌近40%

事实上，在清退中国大陆用户的公告发出前，5月26日中午起，GMT即开始跳水，从1.32美元附近的价格一路下跌，最低至0.80423美元，最大跌幅近40%。不过，随着市场情绪有所缓和，GMT价格也有所回升，截至发稿时，最新价约为1.04美元。
In fact, as of midday, 26 May, before the announcement to clear mainland China, the GMT began to dive, falling from a price close to $1.32 to 0.80423, with a maximum decline of nearly 40%. However, as market sentiment subsided, the GMT price recovered, with the latest price at the time of the release being about $1.04.
同时，STEPN项目中的游戏代币GST同样暴跌，跌幅一度超过两成。

STEPN是2022初最火热的币圈项目之一，主打“边跑边赚(Move to Earn)”的概念。简单来说，STEPN是一款基于区块链技术的游戏APP，支持用户以运动鞋形式拥有NFT，并通过在现实世界中户外步行或跑步赚取代币以获得收入。要想参与该游戏，玩家需要先拥有STEPN推出的NFT运动鞋才可参与游戏。因此，“跑鞋”NFT也成为了该项目的标志之一。
STEPN is one of the hottest currency circles in the early 2022’s. The concept of “Move to Earn” is used.
