Klaytn is a public chain developed by Ground X, the North Korean Internet giant Kakao's block chain sector, with 50 million users worldwide. Klaytn Mainnet Cypress can provide a high intake of 4,000 transactions per second, with block generation intervals of one second, and the transaction is completed immediately. Klaytn uses an optimal version of Istanbul BFT, which is modified to achieve PBFT to deal with the characteristics of the block chain network. At the start of the main network, each block will be cast 9.6 KLAY. This means an annual inflation rate of 3% (about 300 million KLAYs) relative to the 10 billion KLAYs issued at the time of creation.
