一、虚拟币在中国合法吗
虚拟货币在国内是合法存在的，但如果利用虚拟货币从事非法的活动那就是违法的。比特币在国内被定义为一种特殊的互联网商品，现阶段，各金融机构不得提供比特币相关的产品或服务。比特币不能且不应该作为货币使用。瑞泰币、莱特币等山寨币也同样适用。
二、法律依据
2013年央行发布《关于防范比特币风险的通知》，后又传出央行约谈10余家第三方支付公司相关负责人，明确要求其不得给比特币、莱特币等交易网站提供支付与清算业务。国内比特币价格从7000元左右一路跌至3300元。更有分析称比特币将退出中国。
