11月4日凌晨，孙宇晨转发罗永浩“一个‘老赖’CEO的自白”微博，称罗永浩是创业精神代言人，邀其加入波场，年薪一百万人民币，且如果效果拔群，后续愿意持续追加一千万投入。截至发稿时，罗永浩未公开回复。

10月28日，人民日报社发表评论《区块链难懂？评论员讲给你听》。文章提到，要从应用视角来看区块链。区块链是一个分布式共享账本和数据库，主要应用场景有：存证、共享、信任、协作，“随着区块链与金融资本、实体经济的深度融合，传统产业的价值将在数字世界流转，将构建区块链产业生态，推动产业变革升级”。
