Bakkt’s introduction of the Bitcoin contract has been progressing, and as early as last week, Bakkt announced that its hosting service, Bakkt Warehouse, had come online on September 7 and that Bitcoin, which was stored in Warehouse, would be protected by a $125 million policy. In addition, BNY Mellon in New York will provide a geographically distributed customer asset storage service for Warehouse to protect private key documents.
