在世界范围内，对于比特币的法律地位并没有得到明确的认定。在某些国家，比特币被认为是合法的，比如日本和澳大利亚；而在另外的国家中，比特币被认为是非法的，比如巴西和孟加拉国。

The legal status of Bitcoin is not clearly defined worldwide. In some countries, bitcoin is considered legal, such as Japan and Australia, while in others, bitcoin is considered illegal, such as Brazil and Bangladesh.

在中国，比特币的法律地位也一直受到关注。2013年12月，中国人民银行等七部委联合发布了《关于防范比特币风险的通知》。该通知指出，比特币不是货币，不被认为是法定货币，不能在市场上作为货币流通使用。同时，该通知还明确规定，金融机构不得为比特币提供服务，包括开设比特币业务账户、注册、交易、结算、清算、担保等服务均不得进行。这意味着，金融机构不能为比特币投资、兑换、转让等服务提供支持。

In China, the legal status of Bitcoin has also been a constant concern. In December 2013, seven ministries, including the People’s Bank of China, jointly issued a Notice on Protection against Bitcoin Risk. The Circular states that Bitcoin is not a currency and is not considered a legal currency and cannot be used as a currency in the market.

需要注意的是，虽然中国禁止金融机构提供比特币服务，但并没有禁止个人之间交易比特币。因此，个人买卖比特币的行为并不构成违法。然而，法律并没有完全确认比特币是否合法，因此在进行买卖时，个人需要遵守相关法律法规，以避免产生风险。

It should be noted that, while financial institutions are prohibited from providing Bitcoin services, China does not prohibit transactions between individuals in bitcoin. Thus, the sale of bitcoin by individuals does not constitute a violation of the law. However, the law does not fully recognize the legality of bitcoin, so that when doing so, individuals are required to comply with the relevant laws and regulations in order to avoid risks.
