Today, January 12, Bitcoin’s CEO Li Qiwon has been interviewed by a journalist who looks at the news, Knews.
“What the Bitcoin Exchange does is legally grey, and we know that the reason is that there is no bitcoin in law. The Central Bank has come here to ask us a lot of questions, such as how the Bitcoin Exchange should be located, how to set rules in the future, whether it will issue license plates, and whether some basic questions will be discussed in the future. The surge in billing, leverage, lending, price volatility, whether the Exchange should be open 24 hours a day, how much it should be?”
> And the Central Bank has also asked Bitcoin China to report as soon as possible on the details of the Exchange’s operation.

?
Why should the central bank examine the major exchanges at this time? According to Cao Cao, the chief architect of the energy sector chain lab, “Some Bitcoin exchanges are less compliant, often claiming that bitcoins will replace French coins, and that bitcoins can devalue against the renminbi, bypass domestic exchange controls, etc., are in conflict with man-made policies.” This is not surprising in the face of the pressure of currency outflows and the rise in internal collateral lending, and this joint central bank financial office inspection will take place sooner or later.

Just this month, the Central Bank’s Shanghai headquarters announced that the Bank’s joint Shanghai Financial Office regulatory department had met with the main head of the Shanghai Bitcoin trading platform and stressed that Bitcoin was a specific virtual commodity that could not be used as a currency.
In the second half of 2016, Bitcoin prices surged by 43% and reached record highs in the early hours of January 5. In the last six months, China’s market accounted for more than 98% of the world’s Bitcoin transactions, partly because China’s Bitcoin transactions did not charge fees.
