    As expected, the Cisco Nexus 9000 is a direct switch. A direct switch is a switch that takes a decision on trans-routing and starts to transfer from the export channel as soon as sufficient trans-shipments have been processed. This is not the case for saving trans-shipping, in which the trans-convert is able to save the entire trans-shipment before turning from the output to the trans-distribution.

    The FCS field of the Ethernet is capable of using the FCS field to verify the integrity of the Ethernet field and then to transfer it from the export interface (or, if the FCS field contains ineffectual content, to discard it). However, the switching machine running under the direct traffic mode cannot use the FCS field to test the integrity of the Ethernet before transmitting it from the outlet; in other words, most of the ethernets have been transferred from the outlet when the direct switcher is able to authenticate the integrity of the Ethernet.

    If the switchboard running under the direct traffic exchange mode receives an Ether rim with an invalid FCS field, the switcher may take the following measures:

    Starting with NX-OS software version 10.2(1), the Nexus switch with Cloud Scale ASIC provides a new interface counter in the Ethernet field with a CRC stack. You can use the show interface command to identify a physical interface with an increasing non-CRC and a CRC stacker. This shows an example where the field has an Ethernet1/1 with a zero CRC calculator and a non-zero CRC calculator, which means that the interface has received an ineffectual and stacking box for the CRC.

    For the pre 10.2(1) version of the NX-OS software, the stacked CRC calculator is not available on the interface. A few steps are required to determine whether an invalid CRC input interface has been observed and to verify whether the CRC is invalid or stacked.

    This is illustrated in the following examples. Looking back, the physical interface Ethernet1/1 is associated with the linecard slot number 1 and the Cloud Scale ASIC 0, which means that the order you have to operate is slot 1 show hardware internal tah accounts 0. The physical interface Ethernet1/1 is associated with MAC 4 and the physical interface Ethernet1/1 is linked to <0, while the physical interface > Ethernet1/1 is 10G.     Each line card on the Nexus 9500 series is connected through the internal link (Ethernet) to the switch matrix module. Each ASIC on each line card has a full web connection to all the swap matrix modules. The example here shows a line card with four Sugarbowl ASIC, which links the internal link to four of the module's Nexus 9500 switch.

    Modular Cloud Scale Internal Chassis Network

    Use the show system internal fabric interface {x} command ({x} is a linecard or exchange matrix cell slot number) to show the internal link between the specified linecard and all exchange matrix modules. This output shows a table in which each line displays the inner link between the linecard (under LC-iEthLink) and each exchange matrix module internal link (under FM-iEthLink) is shown in a pair of two sets. The examples are found here in the Nexus 9508 switchboard (under 22, 23 and 26) inserted into each line in the switch box.
